The pending period is the maximum number of days after the action completion has been reported in which the completion could potentially be declined. At anytime during the pending period, the reported action completion can be marked as either confirmed or as declined. After the expiration of the pending period, an action completion that has not been marked as declined will automatically be confirmed.

The pending period can be set between 0 to 90 days. If the pending period is set to be 0, then any reported action completion will be instantly confirmed.

Task actions with shorter pending periods will be more attractive to users and so you should minimize the pending period if possible.
